There is no upfront cost, we do not require a subscription or license, and it is free to sign up.

Can we manage our current network of W-2 or 1099 technicians on OnForce?

What insurance protection do you offer?
OnForce provides industry-leading insurance protection with general liability (up to $2 million), errors and omissions (up to $2 million), and workers’ compensation (up to $1 million) coverage. No other platform offers workers’ compensation coverage. You can learn more about our insurance offering here.
How does OnForce protect my organization from worker misclassification?
As the agent of record, OnForce helps your organization mitigate the risk of employee misclassification at no additional fee. Additionally, our terms and conditions require all technicians to confirm they are independent contractors.

What payment methods are available?
We offer many different payment methods – we can invoice buyers for paid and closed work orders after a simple credit check, or buyers can pre-fund their account using a wire transfer, check, ACH transfer, or credit card at no additional fee.
What type of work is available on OnForce?
We have a great variety of contract IT field service and onsite work available in over two hundred IT service categories. Common work services include: Installation, Break/Fix, or Parts Swap for Computers, Printers, Cable/Wiring, Point of Sale, and other equipment. The length of work assignments range from 2 hours to 12+ months.
Do I need to be a business to join OnForce?
No. Both individuals and businesses can sign up as a technician on OnForce.
How will I be paid?
Simply link your bank account to your OnForce account. Your earnings will be available 3 to 5 business days after successful completion of a work order. Unlike other FMS platforms, if there is a payment dispute, our Payment Resolution team will step in to mediate and help you get paid for the work you performed.
How do I get work? And where can I see available work orders?
Unlike other platforms, buyers on OnForce select the technicians they want to send work to. This greatly increases your chances of being selected as the technicians for a work order, as the buyer is already interested in your services. You will receive a notification when a buyer selects you for a work order, a work order application, or a request for quote.
I completed a background check recently can it be transferred to my OnForce profile?
No, due to privacy laws, only Blue Ribbon (Gold Package) background checks can be transferred to OnForce. No other background checks can be transferred to OnForce.
I have my own insurance policy, can I upload that to OnForce?
Yes! If you carry your own general liability, errors and omissions, or workers’ compensation insurance coverage, you may upload them to you pro profile. In order for your insurance to be accepted and appear on your profile, you must send your proof of insurance certificate to firstname.lastname@example.org.
