September, 2008: Version 5.0 is launched, which unveils a complete redesign of our website and makes it easier than ever to find the right pro for each job. We also introduce the ability to request quotes from pros, enabling buyers to move into new, unfamiliar geographies and categories and still obtain market pricing.
May, 2008: Consumer Electronics is split out from IT into its own marketplace, reflecting the tremendous growth of this category. This represents OnForce's first-ever category expansion
June, 2007: Version 4.0 is launched, which introduces PowerMatch, a precise matching engine which enables buyers to find the pros whose skills, performance and location best match each job.
August, 2006: Version 3.0 is released, enabling VARs and solution providers to search for pros by keyword or location. This search tool has now been used more than 2,000,000 times, making it the most popular research tool in the IT services industry.
December, 2005: ComputerRepair.com changes its name to OnForce to reflect the evolution of our marketplace. Our buyers and pros have moved into a wide range of IT services, including rollouts and installations in categories like VoIP, POS and consumer electronics.
