He is a technology and business executive with experience in Fortune 500 and internet startups. He was formerly the COO of Quigo, an advertising technology startup. Abbott spent nearly 6 years at eBay as VP of Operations and IT and SVP of Technology/CTO, during which time he was also a member of eBay's executive staff. Prior to eBay, he held domestic and international executive and management positions at Gateway, managing both the IT software development and IT Operations groups in the US and Asia Pacific regions. Abbott's software experience includes managing on and offshore organizations certified in the Capability Maturity Model for Software Development from the Software Engineering Institute. His business experience includes running a startup company and performing as a member of the senior executive team of a Fortune 500 company to include collaborating on corporate strategy. He has an M.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, a B.S. in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy (West Point) and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Executive Education Program (Program for Management Development).Peter CannonePeter Cannone was named chief executive officer of OnForce in 2007. With two decades of leadership and sales experience, he is the company's top executive, with ultimate responsibility for product development, operations, sales and marketing. Prior to assuming his current role, Cannone served as senior vice president of sales operations with PC Connection, where he was responsible for the company's IT solution provider base across customer sectors including small- to medium-sized business, higher education, government and Fortune 1000. Having advanced through several executive-level positions at PC Connection, Merisel, MicroWarehouse and Xerox, Cannone has a broad perspective on overarching trends in the service sector and an extensive understanding of the technology services industry that is highly valued by the OnForce marketplace. Cannone earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.Todd KrasnowAs a member of the original management team of Staples Todd Krasnow was instrumental in opening the world's first office superstore and in helping to grow Staples to $7 billion in annual revenue by 1998. As executive vice president of sales and marketing, Todd also started and ran Staples' catalog business. He was Co-Founder and CEO of Zoots, one of the country's leading dry cleaning chains, and remains chairman of the company today. Todd also serves on the boards of SuitePlay Home Furnishings, Carbonite.com, MindEdge and C&S Wholesale Grocers. Todd has won a gold Clio award for best retail advertising in the U.S. and served on the Harvard Business School faculty as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the 2006-07 academic year and is a member of Cornell University's Alumni Council and the Harvard Business School Entrepreneurship Center Advisory Board. He received his bachelor's degree from Cornell University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.Harry NelisAs a General Partner at Accel, Harry Nelis has been involved in technology startups and large technology companies in the U.S. and Europe for almost two decades. He focuses primarily on software and internet investments, and currently serves on the board of directors of Double Fusion, Kayak, KDS, Netvibes and Spreadshirt. Prior to joining Accel, Harry was at Perry Capital, an $8 billion hedge fund, where he focused on investments in public communications, media and technology companies. Prior to that, he was a member of Goldman Sachs' London-based investment banking team, advising leading European communications, media and technology companies on corporate finance and M&A transactions. He was the founder of Palo Alto-based E-motion, a venture-backed startup focused on digital asset management, and started his career at Hewlett-Packard. Orfao is a board member of: Brightcove (Jeremy Allaire and General Catalyst co-founded the company); EZ Prints; Impress Software; Laszlo Systems; Imprivata; OnForce; Ping Identity and rPath. He formerly served on the board of IMlogic, a General Catalyst investment that was acquired by Symantec in February 2006. Prior to co-founding General Catalyst, Orfao held the positions of President, CEO or Senior VP of Sales, Operations or Marketing for four publicly held companies. Most recently, David led Allaire Corporation from 1997 to 2000 as President, CEO and Board Member. During his tenure, Allaire grew from a venture-backed startup to an $119M public corporation trading on the NASDAQ. The company pioneered the Internet Application Server market with industry leading products such as ColdFusion and JRUN. In January of 2001, Allaire merged with MacroMedia Corporation and continues to be a leading Internet software company. Prior to his CEO role at Allaire, Orfao held the positions of Senior VP of Sales Operations and Marketing at Frame Technology Corporation, Claris Corporation, and SQA Corporation. Frame Technology and SQA Corporation were venture-backed corporations that successfully completed Initial Public Offerings on the NASDAQ. Throughout his career, Orfao has been an angel investor, advisor, and board member to several companies, including, Voxeo Corporation, and Firespout Corporation. He earned a B.A. in Business and Accounting from Norwich University of Vermont.Alan J. WeberAlan J. Weber is the retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Trust Corporation and a member of the Executive Committee of The Charles Schwab Corporation. He was responsible for all aspects of U.S. Trust's businesses. Prior to joining U.S. Trust in October 2002, Weber was Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer at Aetna Inc., where he was responsible for capital management, information technology, investor relations, e.business and financial operations. For 27 years, Weber held a number of senior positions at Citibank N.A., where he worked from 1971 to 1998, including Chairman of Citibank International and Executive Vice President of Citibank. He also served as a member of Citibank's Policy Committee. Weber is a director of Diebold, Inc., a global provider of integrated self-service delivery systems, security and services. He is also a director of Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. which is a leading provider of investor communications, securities processing, and clearing and outsourcing solutions to the financial services industry. Weber is a director of OnForce.com, which he helped establish. He serves on the Board of Overseers at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and is a member of the board of DCTV, a New York City-based charitable/service organization. Weber also serves on the Alumni Advisory Board of the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. A native New Yorker, Weber received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1970 and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University in 1971. |
