Title: Business Development Rep

Reports to: VP of Sales
Location: TBD

The Business Development Representative is responsible for developing business with prospective strategic customers and penetration and retention of existing customers. The business development includes the following: territory management, lead identification and qualification, cold calling, setting appointments, creating and developing proposals and pricing models, making presentations, documenting customer agreements (e.g., contract, service agreement), closing sales through effective negotiation, documenting sales activities and participating in business reviews. The Business Development Representative must be able to work with a variety of contacts and build strong business-to-business relationships in order to achieve goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the retention and growth of assigned OnForce customers.
  • Maintain solid business relationships to provide a steady flow of qualified leads.
  • Is accountable for key measurements for prospecting, presentations, and general sales functions.
  • Ensure alignment between OnForce platform and overall account strategy and mission.
  • Have a full understanding of the OnForce platform and how it will benefit the current client or prospect.
  • Exceeds targets in key performance areas including new prospects, cold calling, phone calls, networking, in-person visits, presentations, leads developed.
  • Knowledge of existing opportunities, client's business model, service strategy, priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Maintain a visible and accurate sales pipeline of regular and consistent business development activities.
  • Identifies outreach programs that will open up new pipelines of customers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle including: exploration, contract negotiation, pilot development, implementation, and complete integration of the OnForce platform.
  • Regularly attends trade shows and designated events, where applicable.
  • Develops a solid expertise of the OnForce platform and product.
  • Develops a solid infrastructure of business contacts to serve as a delivery vehicle of initiatives and programs.
  • Prepare weekly reports on activities, attend and lead weekly meetings.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales or business development experience required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Able to utilize various sales techniques including cold calling, lead generation, and solution selling.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work within a team environment.



Title: Inside Account Manager

Reports to: VP of Sales
Location: Lexington, MA

The Inside Account Manager is responsible for providing a sales and sales support function to current customers and prospects. Additionally, the Inside Account Manager is responsible for developing relationships, designing and implementing strategic account plans, and managing the entire sales cycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the retention and growth of assigned OnForce customers within the defined geographic or other territory.
  • Knowledge of existing territory opportunities, client's business model, service strategy, priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle including: exploration, contract negotiation, pilot development, implementation, and complete integration of the OnForce platform.
  • Initiate outbound calls to business prospects that may or may not have expressed interest in the OnForce platform.
  • Manage sales pipeline and forecast.
  • Develop relationships with key decision makers within our current client list or targeted prospects.
  • Develop strategic and implement account plans for the purpose of penetrating accounts, and increased sales.
  • Have a full understanding of the OnForce platform and how it will benefit the current client or prospect.
  • Work with prospects to determine their level of need for the OnForce platform.
  • Utilize various business applications to develop a targeted account list.
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers.

Requirements:
  • Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Prior inside sales experience a plus.
  • Able to utilize various sales techniques including cold calling, lead generation, and solution selling.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work within a team environment.

Metrics:
  • Develop targeted prospect list.
  • Pipeline and forecast.
  • Work Order revenue and average work order value metrics.



Title: Prototyper

Reports to: User Experience Manager
Location: Lexington, MA

We are looking for a talented, motivated, detail-oriented web developer, who is excited about working in a fast-paced startup environment to create prototypes of the latest features and designs for a revolutionary online marketplace. As a prototyper, you will work closely with user experience, product management, and development to develop proof-of-concept models of new features and designs.

This opportunity requires a motivated candidate to think creatively, and to have an eye for detail in order to create new prototypes quickly, with the intent to test with users and provide examples for development. Organization is key - the fast paced environment will require you to develop and use your own code library, as well as maintain a catalog of prototypes created so that they can be referred to for later iterations. You will be responsible for tracking changes to all prototypes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop functional, high-fidelity prototypes of OnForce with new features and/or designs for testing.
  • Communicate effectively with product management and design to quickly produce accurate prototypes of new product features for testing
  • Work closely with design and product management to revise and finalize prototype for features that move into full development

Previous Experience:
  • Demonstrated rapid-prototyping skills to match a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • At least 3 years of development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
  • At least 2 years of web programming experience with XML, ASP, PHP, or similar
  • Deep understanding of database integration issues, specifically with MYSQL a plus
  • Ability to take requirements from multiple sources (Interaction Design, Graphic Design, and Product Management) and run with them to develop a high-fidelity working model
  • Ability to track and manage changes to prototypes and development library
  • Ability to develop strong relationships internally with members of user experience and product teams is critical
